The launch story

A new era of innovation

On November 19th, 2025, Guru Nanak Institute of Technology (GNIT), Kolkata, launched its MSA-GNIT Chapter, marking the start of a new era of innovation and student empowerment on campus. The inauguration featured an impactful awareness session on Microsoft Technologies & Services, designed to nurture future-ready tech talent.

The chapter hosted two keynote speakers whose sessions on GitHub & open-source for beginners and building applications using generative AI inspired every student in the auditorium to think beyond boundaries and start building.

This inauguration marked the beginning of a community where students grow together, share opportunities, build projects, and contribute to the global tech ecosystem — with a mission to empower students with technical excellence, leadership opportunities, and global exposure through Microsoft.
